Im a 47 year old male who recently stumbled across this condition while googling in attempt to understand my mothers current alienation of myself. My mother is/was the alienator, my father the alienated, and I was the rejecting child who consequently has suffered 4 decades of broken family and attempts to create my own family!
There life that much of my life long struggles can be attributed to being a victim as a child as like a lightning bolt releasing a huge mental pimple barrier that plagued me a lifetime.
My story continues today as my mother is coercing my own teenage sons (16 and 19) to alienate me as they have both left my household recently within the last year.
My story could be more elaborated but Im not searching for sympathy.
From this point on I would like to help others discover their plight so they too can begin to move forward and attempt with open eyes to break a cycle they werent aware that they were a victim of! I knew something or somebody had to be an influentual cause in my life's struggles.
