If you know a child is in distress, only report to the authorities that "there is abuse in that family". Never say it is a type of abuse is other than sexual as the authority most likely will turn a blind eye. The child may eventually become emotionally injured if not treated. Do it anonymously - this is important for 2 reasons. Need to bypass "no standing rule" in the case you are not a relative. Safeguard yourself. Remember the authority will be busy dealing with other harmful stuff. They don't have time to waste.
